Jennifer is an actor, singer, dancer and professional choreographer.  She holds a B.A. in Theater from The College of William & Mary and
an M.F.A. in Dance Performance and Choreography from Florida State
University.  Previously the Director of Dance/Assistant Professor of
Dance and Musical Theater at Western Carolina University, Jennifer is a professor of Dance at Christopher Newport University.  There she has developed the university’s annual dance concert, A Delicate Balance.  Recent choreographic credits include Steel Pier (received KCACTF nom.), Chicago and a re-staging of 9/11: A Reflection.
Jennifer has choreographed for Virginia Stage Company (LORT) and performs and
choreographs with Virginia Musical Theater.  For VMT Jennifer completed choreography for the new musical, Happy Days, starring Derek Keeling as Fonze known from Grease's, You're the One That I Want."  She has choreographed Mary Poppins for West Virginia Public Theatre at the historic Metropolitan Theater in Morgantown.
Other performance credits
include The Lost Colony and Legends in Concert. Roles with Virginia Musical Theater include Jacqueline in La Cage Aux Folles, Ms. Mazeppa in Gypsy, and Nellie in Jekyll and Hyde in which she performed with American Idol Star, Constantine Maroulis. She has worked with Gwen Verdon, Ben Vereen, Charlotte d'Amboise, Terrence Mann and Ann Reinking.
She trains with Tony Award Winning Broadway star, Faith Prince.  She has performed a solo Cabaret show under Prince's tuteledge.  Jennifer performed a solo at The St. Louis Cabaret Conference and Festival where she trained with Marilyn Maye, Peisha McPhee, Alex Rybeck, Tedd Firth, and Faith Prince.
